Enjoy Christmas at the Restaurant Bouquet

We are approaching Christmas and one year more our team of the Bouquet Restaurant is working to make these holidays unique and special, perfect for the celebration of the Christmas festivities with family and friends.

For Christmas’ Eve dinner, Christmas and San Estaban launches, at Bouquet Restaurant(located on the second floor of the hotel), we will  serve  exclusive avant-garde menus designed by our unbridled chef Manuel Moya, who using the freshness and vitality as inspiration in his cuisine will delight you with unique dishes to make your celebration one unforgettable experience.

New flavors at Restaurant Bouquet

We are already in spring time and become the new flavors to the restaurant Bouquet. Dishes like the Salmorejo with crispy ham and quail eggs or the  Seafood noodles Catalan style  with squids, mussels, prawns and garlic mayonnaise sauce will accompany us during these months of heat.

Culinary adventures

After an intense summer that we are leaving behind, we are introducing into the fall season, and although it doesn’t officially start until 21st September, is filling us of energy to carry out new ideas and projects.

We have been thinking for some time that we would like to cross borders and don’t just offer you our loved kitchen in the Bouquet Restaurant, but also reveal the secrets of its preparation to give you the opportunity to enjoy it in your favorite placesa and as you prefer, at home with your partner, in a picnic with friends, in a family celebration… so we have set the course towards this new adventure where we will offer you a new recipe every month, hoping to arouse your curiosity to enter to the wonderful gastronomy world. We’ll do it in a clear and simple way using ingredients and utensils accessible for all with the aim of making it a nice experience and delightfully funny! And who knows, maybe with your talent and a bit of our inspiration we will see you in the next castings of Masterchef  J

So, without further ado, we will start with the tasty Iberian pork in teriyaki sauce with chips and mashed sweet potatoes, a must to make a great debut because their warm and earthy tones are the most characteristic of this season.

The ingredients that we will need for 2 persons are: 500gr. of Iberian pork (called Pluma Ibérica in Spain, a tender piece of iberien pork), 20cl. of teriyaki sauce, 10cl. of soy sauce, 15g. of sugar, 1 carrot, 1 yuca, 2 sweet potatoes, oil and salt and pepper to season it.

We will divide the elaboration into three parts, the preparation of sauce, the preparation of chips and the elaboration of the plate. For the sauce, we will reduce in a pan the teriyaki sauce, the soy sauce and the sugar until we get a candy texture. Then, we will cut the vegetables very fine and fry them in hot oil until toast them in a golden colour to  obtain the chips, which we will season before serving. At the same time, we boil the sweet potatoes and pass the  into the potato masher. The next step will be to mark the meat in a pan with a little oil, to fillet it and add the sauce, reserving a little part of it. Finally, we will preheat the oven at 220°C where we will bake the meat for 3 minutes. For the plating, we will place the sweet potatoe puree in the bottom of the dish making a bed for the meat, on which we will place the chips of vegetables and finish the plate with the sauce we have reserved.

We have very appetizing news coming in our Axis Bar during that summer season. This year we wanted to organize something different, and far away from the usual freshly squeezed juices offer, we put our original touch to this tropical offer. Why not have our assorted fruit stand where customers can see, choose and create their own juices and smoothies? Said and done! So now you will find in our wonderful lobby the greengrocer corner with all the ingredients you can imagine to let your imagination run free and become the new juices bartender of the moment.

In addition to combining all the ingredients that you want you can also baptise your customized tropical combination with the name you feel more funny and turn it into trend. Upload them in your social media channels mentioning us and we will add the best ones to our top selection!

Verano Codorníu en Bouquet

We bring you the latest news! Until 28th August you can enjoy the Weekend Brunch Anna de Codorniu in our Bouquet Restaurant, where you will find a delicious menu specially designed to be paired with one of the most elegant sparkling wines offered by this Catalan winery.

Although the title says it, don’t believe that you will be only able to enjoy it in the morning and on the weekend, because we have adapted the proposal to a suitable option for everyone, to come at midday, at night, on Monday on Saturday or whenever you want…!!

The menu has three courses, appetizer, entree and main plate, ending with a sweet and original dessert, a new creation of our pastry chef for this 2016 season, the Frothy sour apple cake with green tea ice cream and marshmallows. All dishes are cooked with fresh products and following our Mediterranean cuisine style that offers the quality and origins as a principle who characterizes us.

Some of the best known bloggers from Barcelona have already tasted it, as Baco y Boca, so we encourage you to become a gastronomic expert for a day and do not miss the appointment!
